Cole and Britt were married on a BEAUTIFUL July Day in St. Paul at the Historic Saint Paul Hotel. I had the pleasure of assisting Britt and Cole with their wedding planning while they were busy moving all of over the country for Cole’s job!! Britt always knew exactly what she wanted and it was a lot of fun to assist her in the details of the planning and making sure that everything was coming together perfectly!! They started off the wedding weekend with a welcome boat cruise on the Mississippi for all of the out of town guests, Friday continued the fun with the rehearsal and the rehearsal dinner ending the weekend with their fantastic pink and white wedding! The St. Paul Hotel does a fantastic job hosting weddings (and the food is amazing!) And last year they added on this amazing getting ready room.. you can see the fantastic photos here below!!

Working with Emily and Josh on their Minnesota Boat Club wedding last June was on a perfect summer day surrounded by water and family! The small wedding of 150 guests was perfect for Raspberry Island! Everytime I am at the Boat club I feel like we are in a personal backyard with our own big house for the reception! When I was developing the theme with Emily we wanted something bright, full of fun elements and playful!! Molly Hiller from Mollys Flower Studio knocked it out of the park with BIG BRIGHT PEONIES that really lit up the space! The stationery tied well into our chevron and bright floral theme and the photography by Melissa Oholendt captured everything perfectly!

I am so excited to blog this wedding by Red Ribbon Studios! Erin and her mom were so much fun to work with and they had so much style… it was easy and fun to create the look for the wedding date! Now you see chevron everywhere.. but when we were planning this wedding it was not very popular yet… so pairing chevron sequence table clothes with beautiful floral made me SO excited!!
I always thought of Erin’s style as very “Kate Spade” and we were able to merry patterns together to make a fun and a memorable statement! Congratulations to Erin and Casey.. I hope that you are having a wonderful first holiday season married!!!

Today is another beautiful wedding photographed by Laura Ivanova Photography! Sophie and Andy were married on a beautiful Friday in September on the terrace of the Calhoun Beach Club. It was a joy to help Sophie and Andy plan their wedding, not only because I really got to know them and loved working with them.. but also because Sophie was from England and I learned so much about English weddings, traditions, culture and ……..her mother had a fabulous accent!! We wanted to create a mix between a formal sit down wedding with an English Garden wedding!! We incorporated long tables at the venue with beautiful little vignettes of flowers in bright colors from Zinnia Designs ! Guests wore fascinators.. and I even was gifted one from the Mother of the Bride!!
