Minneapolis Machine Shop Wedding | Ashley and Dave

Ashley and Dave were married in August at the Machine Shop in Minneapolis! The venue was perfect for this New York couple looking for something more unique for their ceremony and reception! It was very convinent that Ashley’s parents also do live across the street from the Machine Shop!!!

Since Ashley and Dave live in New York we planned most of this wedding over emails, phone calls and two big planning trips into town!! When it came time to plan decor, we knew we wanted to bring in some colorful floral and the best way to do that seemed to be suspending it over the ceremony and reception site. Thank you to Munster Rose for not only going along with this labor intensive task of hanging floral… but for also spending hours and hours working on building structures, testing logistics and creating a plan to move the floral in an hour for a room flip!!! Thank you to all of the vendors that made this day come together!!

JX Event Venue Wedding | Dana and Brandon

Bright, Beautiful and SO Summery… Just looking at Dana and Brandon’s Wedding photos makes me want to go back to this PERFECT June Day in Stillwater!! I am the type of person that is a little intimidated with color. I tend to live in a pewter world; but when it is peony season I can COMPLETELY get behind lots of bold and bright colors and it was SO much fun to get to help Dana and Brandon design and plan their big day!!!

When we toured JX Event Venue it was still a construction site, but we knew from the minute we walked in that it was perfect for the fun and festive feel that Dana and Brandon wanted for their big day. Sadie’s Couture Flowers and Events spent at least NINE long hours hanging floral pieces and designs from all of the exposed beams to add a whimsy element to an already lovely space!! The staff at JX Event Venue was unbelievable! I am so happy that we have a few more weddings booked there next year!

I have had the pleasure of knowing the wonderful CLARK family for years and I am so honored to plan all 3 of their daughters weddings! They are a FUN family that not only has great style, but they really trust all of their vendors to make their vision come together! There are plenty of times that I am describing “fun ideas” and I realize that clients have no idea what I am envisioning, until they see it on their wedding day and luckily for me.. they are always very happy with the finished product!!! Madden’s on Gull Lake Wedding | Erin and Ross

Like so many other Minnesotan’s “Going Up North” is not just a fun summer vacation, but it is really an escape from the hustle and bustle of life. That is exactly what Erin and Ross’s wedding felt like to me! Even though out of town weddings pose a lot of additional challenges for wedding vendors, I jumped at the chance to be apart of Erin and Ross’s intimate wedding celebration at Madden’s on Gull Lake.

Erin’s family has had a cabin on Gull Lake all of her life and she really wanted to share the love of the lake with all of her guests. Erin and Ross were also traveling for this destination wedding from Texas, so most of our planning was done in marathon planning sessions and lots and lots of emails 🙂

Their wedding day was one of the most beautiful days of the summer and with the help of all of our amazing vendors that traveled many miles to help with this wedding…It was a picture perfect day on the lake!!!!

Lafayette Club Wedding | Clare and Trent | Lake Minnetonka

I am not sure if it is the mutual love of the lake or the fact that we are both blonde and like to talk (a lot) But from the minute I met Clare and her parents I instantly fell in love with them and I knew that the next few months planning their wedding would be a lot of fun!! Clare and Trent had been in numerous weddings while their wedding and I think that gave them a lot of ideas and direction on what vendors they liked and what decor they wanted to incorporate.

I have a lot of “favorite” parts of this wedding, but I am especially fond of the beautiful stationery products. Because the wedding venues were surrounded by Lake Minnetonka we chose to do an illustration of the lake, the Lafayette Club and the church. The illustration that was done by Cait Courneya and Paper Rock Scissors and it set the perfect tone for this wedding!
