Aria Minneapolis Wedding
Sue and Tommy.. What a fun couple!! Looking back on these photos makes me yearn for sunshine and a good, fun party like Sue and Tommy had last August at Aria!
This was the first wedding in a long time for both Sue and Tommy’s families and they really wanted to throw one elegant, fun and unique wedding for all of their guests… and they succeeded! The ceremony took place at the Basilica of St. Mary in Minneapolis; Adorable flower girls processed down the aisle before Sue (who looked STUNNING in her L’atelier Bridal Gown) met Tommy at the end of the aisle. The traditional and formal wedding ceremony ended with a large group photos on the steps of the Basilica; A tradition at the church. Following the ceremony guests were greeted at Aria with signature cocktails, delicious appetizers and a fun Friday night evening!
The reception decor was a true reflection of Sue and Tommy. We wanted to combine a lot of classic and timeless elements with a clean and modern wedding design. With a floorplan set for 350 guests and a big band, we moved around tables numerous times to get the configuration “just right”. I am a big fan of chandeliers and I believe we can never have too many… and Sue agreed with me! This was the most chandeliers I had hung at Aria and It created a beautiful glow throughout the evening. Following an AMAZING dance party the guests said goodbye to the newlywed’s with a sparkler send off!!
Thank you to all of the vendors that assisted with this wonderful wedding!
